Responsibilities

Operate and maintain machines like lathe, milling, drilling, and grinding for precision component manufacturing.

Read and interpret mechanical drawings to produce accurate parts.

Perform fitting, assembly, and alignment of mechanical components.

Inspect machined parts using measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy.

Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of workshop machines.

Follow safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Required Skills

Proficiency in operating machining tools (lathe, milling, drilling, grinding).

Strong knowledge of mechanical drawings and GD&T basics.

Skilled in measuring instruments like vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, dial gauge, etc.

Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform basic repairs.

Good understanding of machining processes and material properties.

Safety awareness and hands-on mechanical aptitude.
