Responsibilities

1) Regular, weekly or monthly production output vs. target tracking and planning.
2) Tracking of process cycle time, down time, efficiency and cost improvement opportunities, safety etc.
3) Lead, allocate and supervise daily activities of operators, technicians and support staffs.
4) Prepare shift schedules, ensure optimal manpower utilization and maintain 5S and discipline on the shop floor.
5) Evaluate operator performance and implement productivity and visualization improvement programs.
6) Collection and tracking of MIS and DOS data and preparing slides.

Required Skills

1) Sound knowledge of heat treatment process and metallurgical concepts.
2) Familiarity with furnaces: Batch type, Continuous, Sealed Quench, Nitriding, Induction or press quenching type etc.
3) Understanding of hardness testing, microstructure examination and process parameter adjustment.
4) Adherence of CQI-9 requirements.
5) Basic knowledge of computer operation, data compilation, excel and preparing presentation skill.
